Research Interests

  • In addition to developing programs to increase efficiency of forage-based livestock production with an emphasis on protein and energy nutrition. Dr. Vanzant’s current research interests include the following:
  • Assessing the influence of livestock on the environment
  • Evaluating methodologies for continuous, remote health monitoring in both confined and free-ranging livestock.
