Kentucky 4-H Horse Advisory Council

The State 4-H Horse Advisory Council is made up of volunteer leaders that bring their time and talents together for youth horse programming.  Each of the 7 Districts of Kentucky select 3 representatives (2 adults and 1 teen)  to serve on the council.  Of these delegates, officers are identified to provide leadership for the council and the 4-H Horse Program.

This council meets twice a year to review potential rule and program changes through recommendations submitted from each district.  The district may submit up to 5 recommendations for the November meeting.

The 4-H Horse Advisory Board Executive Committee includes:

DISTRICT HORSE CONTACT AGENTS
This year, the 7 districts of Kentucky will appoint one 4-H agent as the District Horse Contact.  These volunteers are responsible for directing the District Horse Management Team, answering questions regarding the horse program, and assisting during state-wide horse events.
