State Fair 4-H Horse Show

The Kentucky State Fair 4-H Horse Show is held at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. A Drill Team Competition and seven other divisions are offered. Important forms, updates, and rules can be found here.

The Kentucky 4-H Horse Program sends delegates to participate in the Southern Regional 4-H Horse Championships, Quarter Horse Congress and the Eastern National 4-H Horse Round-Up. Learn about each event and how you can qualify!

Equine Task Force

Learn about one of the KY 4-H Horse Program's newest opportunities! This is a state-level experiential learning program for senior level 4-H youth, ages 14-18 years. Youth are provided with leadership and industry networking opportunities.

Trail Riding Project

This project encourages youth to be closer to nature while enjoying their equine partner, experiencing camaraderie, and being part of a club. Each project year runs Jan 1-Dec 31. Hour log sheets are due to the state office by Jan 15th for the prior year.
