The 2026 Kentucky State Fair 4-H Horse Show will be June 27-July 2, at the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center, Louisville, Kentucky.

May 15 - Online Project Horse Eligibility Form
June 5 - Educational Hours Due (6 hours)
June 5 - Nominations for the following:
June 5 - Drill Team Entry Form
- Stall Request Form - FOR DRILL TEAM ONLY - All other stalls will be reserved through online registration
- Photo Release Form - Mandatory for all 4-H'ers - Completed with 4-H enrollment @ County Extension office
- Negative Coggins
- Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (Health Papers)
- Proof of Flu/Rhino Vaccine
- Show Verification Form
June 13 - Flu/Rhino Vaccine must be administered
Vaccination Rule for State Show
In an effort to protect all horses, due to the recent outbreaks of the neurologic form of herpesvirus, the Kentucky 4-H Horse Program has mandated that horses showing at district and state 4-H horse shows must be vaccinated against flu and rhino within 6 months of the show date. Proof of vaccination will need to be provided along with Coggins and Health Papers.
