SC Conference Award - Gustavo Mazon
Originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Gustavo Mazon is a Ph.D. student at UK. He got his undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from the Federal University of Vicosa in Brazil and his master's degree from UK. His current research focuses on strategic nutritional interventions with probiotics and their relationship to performance, feeding behavior and rumen development of crossbred calves. In addition, Mazon is also involved in the development and validation of precision dairy technologies.

Mackenzie Berry is a Student Employee of the Year Finalist from UK Human Resources.
Berry was also selected to present at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) 2022. Berry is a junior Animal Science major and Agricultural Economics minor at UK. Her research mentor is Dr. Joao Costa.
