Equine Undergraduate Opportunities
One opportunity for students is the multi disciplinary B.S. degree in Equine Science and Management. The curriculum in Equine Science and Management features a core of courses that all students take plus two distinct options. The first option, equine science, is for students who want to develop a deeper understanding of the science related to horse production. This option is for student who might want to work in careers related to equine breeding, training or horse management. The second option, equine management, focuses on business aspects of the horse industry. The College of Agriculture offers challenging and rewarding educational programs for students interested in horses and the horse industry. Students may choose to pursue a B.S. degree in Animal Science. The curriculum in Animal Science is a broad based program that offers several options including a pre-professional option that allows students to prepare for graduate or veterinary college, and an animal industry option with an equine specialization.
