• By-product of the wheat flour milling industry.
• Consists of the fine particles of wheat bran, wheat shorts, wheat germ, wheat flour, and some of the offal from the "tail of the mill".
• Rich in niacin, vitamin B1, phosphorus, and iron.
• A palatable feedstuff commonly added to cattle diets.
• Has a mild laxative effect
