The Kentucky 4-H Horse Program is so fortunate to have some of the most outstanding youth in the country. Some of these youth are now becoming young adults and going to college. We are also fortunate to have many organizations support these young adults with college scholarships. 
The 2017 scholarship recipients are: 
1/ Maria Hyrcza from Bracken County: receiving the Lindy Kohnhorst Memorial AND The Race for Education AND the Kentucky Department of Agriculture Scholarships 
2/ Shelby Martin: receiving the Kentucky Quarter Horse Association AND The Race for Education Scholarships
3/ Gabriel Schumacher from Jackson County: receiving The Race for Education Scholarship
4/ Micah Myers from Campbell County: receiving The Race for Education AND Kentucky Department of Agriculture Scholarships 
5/ Maci McCuiston from Todd County: receiving The Race for Education Scholarship
6/ Mallary Bickers from Caroll County: receiving The Race for Education Scholarship
7/ Jessica Buckman from Union County: receiving The Race for Education Scholarship
8/ Lindsey Booth from Jefferson County: receiving The Race for Education Scholarship
9/ Jerica Dulin from Menifee County: receiving The Race for Education Scholarship
